Shaun Bertrand brings more than 25 years of hands-on cybersecurity leadership, helping organizations strengthen their security posture through practical, experience-driven strategies that deliver real results.
Throughout his career, Shaun has grown and scaled cybersecurity practices, led complex incident response efforts, and advised both private and public sector organizations, including mission-critical defense and government environments across the U.S. and overseas. He has taught cybersecurity as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan and is the Founder and President of the Grand Traverse ISSA chapter.
Shaun has been CISSP certified since 2004 and is a Distinguished Fellow of the Ponemon Institute. Known for his calm leadership style and commitment to service excellence, he builds trusted teams that thrive under pressure and consistently exceed client expectations.
Shaun is a loving father and husband, enjoys long distance hiking, and is terrible at home improvement projects.

A father of two grown, tax-paying adults and a lifelong outdoorsman, Dan recharges in the mountains, at the gym, or in his workshop, usually with a good book nearby. He never says no to pickleball or time with Oakley, his Boston Terrier and favorite child.
